We extend an open invitation for anyone to meet and mingle with members of The Suffield Players during our theatrical season, when we are available for casual chats at Mapleton Hall nearly every Saturday during our set-builds from 9 AM to 1 PM (except for performance days and holidays). Feel free to stop by; our doors are open to all.
Volunteer
Opportunities Include:

USHERING: directing guests to their seats, running the snack bar, handling programs, and cleaning the seating area

SET BUILDING: building the set, painting, moving materials, and cleaning up the Hall
-
TECHNICAL WORK & PRODUCTION: backstage crew, such as the soundboard operators, props team, lightboard operators, costume assistants, make-up artists, and stage manager
-
FUNDRAISING: selling program ads, helping with grant proposals, seeking in-kind donations, and working special events like Red Robin Night or gift wrapping at the holidays

BOX OFFICE MANAGEMENT: handing out tickets, running credit cards, and handling cash

BUILDING MAINTENANCE: changing light bulbs, plumbing, and doing electrical work, repairs, yard maintenance, hall clean up, trash removal, and recycling

PR & MARKETING: distributing posters, keeping up with social media, writing newsletter articles, submitting stories to media, and helping with mailings
